How OrderDen compares
You already run the business on something: Stocksmith (formerly Craftybase), Katana, inFlow, Zoho Inventory, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Invoice Ninja, Wave, or a spreadsheet and your inbox. Here's what each one covers on its paid plan closest to OrderDen's price, taken from each vendor's own pages on October 9, 2026. Every vendor claim links to its source.
OrderDen is for one person or a few who make things on desktop and benchtop machines: 3D printing and laser shops, apparel decorators, sign and sticker makers, electronics and kit makers, and candle makers.
Areas covered, out of 13
OrderDen covers 13 areas of a business that makes and sells things, all on one set of records, so the order itself tells you whether it made money. You don't add up figures from several tools. A tool built for one area goes deeper in that area. OrderDen scores 13 of 13.

How each area was scored
An area counts as covered when every capability in it is built in, not covered when none is, and partly covered otherwise. Partly counts as half and shows as the lighter part of the bar.

built in, on the plan named partly, or on a higher plan (hover over a mark to see why) not offered, or not documented
Stocksmith (formerly Craftybase): Inventory, recipes, manufactures and cost of goods for makers, with orders arriving from Etsy, Shopify and the like. The same product under a new name: craftybase.com now redirects to stocksmith.io. Compared on Pro, $24/month. $20/month billed yearly. One person, one sales channel and up to 25 order lines a month; past that the account moves up a plan.
Katana: Cloud inventory and manufacturing for small manufacturers: sales and purchase orders, stock, bills of materials and production, with accounting handed to QuickBooks or Xero. Compared on Advantage, price on request. Quoted per customer on an annual contract, with unlimited SKUs, users and integrations; Katana publishes no price for it. The only other plan is free.
inFlow: Inventory management for small businesses: products, sales and purchase orders, stock across locations, and light manufacturing. Compared on Lite, $129/month. $99/month billed yearly. Two people and one location; the API, the Showroom portal and store integrations are paid add-ons, and manufacturing is a separate plan. The cheaper Stockroom app only scans stock in and out, so it is not the plan compared.
Zoho Inventory: Stock, sales orders, purchasing, invoicing and carrier shipping for small sellers, part of the Zoho suite. Compared on Standard, $39/month. $29/month billed yearly. Three people and two locations, with 500 sales orders, 500 invoices and 300 purchase orders a month.
QuickBooks Online: Small-business accounting: invoices, estimates, expenses, payroll and the books, with inventory and purchase orders on its higher plans. Compared on Simple Start, $38/month. One person, plus two accountant seats. An offer takes 50% off the first 3 months.
Xero: Small-business accounting: quotes, invoices, bills, purchase orders and the books, with basic tracked stock and an inventory add-on on its higher plans. Compared on Early, $27/month. Monthly billing, no per-user fees. Approves and sends 20 invoices and enters 5 bills a month; more wait as drafts. New US customers get 80% off the first 3 months.
Invoice Ninja: Invoicing for freelancers and small businesses: clients, quotes, invoices, online payments, expenses, purchase orders and a client portal. Also offered self-hosted. Compared on Enterprise, $18/month. For 1 or 2 people; more people cost more. Yearly billing gives 2 months free.
Wave: Invoicing and bookkeeping for very small businesses, free on its Starter plan: customers, estimates, invoices, card payments and the books, with no stock or purchase orders. Sold in the US and Canada only; outside them, invoices can no longer be sent through Wave. Compared on Pro, $19/month. Per business; $190 a year on yearly billing, and card fees are extra. The free Starter plan does not email invoices or take estimates online.
Spreadsheets + email: What most makers run on today: a workbook or two, a document template, and the inbox as the system of record. It is not a vendor and cites nothing; a mark says only whether a sheet can hold the record by hand.
Features and pricing checked as of October 9, 2026. Each vendor is compared on its paid plan closest to OrderDen's price, never a free plan. Prices are per month on monthly billing, in US dollars, and vendors change them; a vendor that quotes each customer shows price on request. Vendor names are their owners' trademarks (Stocksmith, Craftybase, Katana, inFlow, Zoho Inventory, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Invoice Ninja, Wave). OrderDen's plans are on the pricing page. Where a vendor's own pages don't document a feature, it's marked no.
